A slice of cream cake for my little sister (well, she is littler than me!) oh, and by the way this type of cake is very messy to eat when you don't use eating tools, like a knife and fork.

#263 Gold Post Box

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed the Olympics, I have been an avid fan since the 1980 Olympics with Daley Thompson and Coe and Ovett et al. And this one was a doozi! One of the great asides from all the medal winning was the Royal Mail issuing stamps for each gold medal winner and painting a postbox in the medallists home town. Cheltenham is lucky enough to be home to Alex Gregory from the men's four rowing team. Here is his gold box, shame its a boxy square one but there you go! I had to paint it and I have waited till the final day, it seemed fitting.

But....what am I going to do now it's over?

Back to my Olympic themed pics, this one is for the Equestrian Silver medal GBR won this morning. This road sign always looks like its doing dressage to me, which was yesterday, but I am playing fast and loose with my theming Today was show jumping and there isn't a road sign for that!
