#306 Velcro - Loop
You knew the other side of the velcro was coming didn't you! I have a tiny headache that is now subsiding slightly after last nights festivity's 'Happy Birthday CCP!' Amazing evenings entertainment from the young bands and acts that use the 'Musical Youth' project and the original Musical Youth band from the '80's. "Pass the Dutchie!" On a personal note I am chuffed to bits that the 21 paintings of musical instruments I made for the event have all got bids on and are currently earning just over £1200 for 'Musical Youth' (the project not the band!) to buy musical instruments for young disadvantaged musicains to have lessons on, the auctions for the paintings are being held open until midnight on the 10th of October I will update the facebook album with the current bid (when I get the current prices) but in the meantime if you are interested in joining in drop me an email. In the meantime this and last nights velcro are being sold on ebay as normal but as a pair, click here to bid.

#305 Velcro - Hook
I have been hanging the 21 musical instrument paintings this afternoon, fortunately I know that you put the hook part of velcro on the work and the loop on the wall (this is because the hook will last longer) and the boards I was hanging on are effectively loop so I can just put the paintings on the board and they stay there. Brilliant and phew. The moral of the tale is; being a Fine Art Technician sometimes is very useful. watercolour and pencil 14cm x 9cm.

#303 Piano Keys
Getting very excited about Friday evenings celebrations now, especially as all the paintings are done now, a slight delay in getting hold of these piano keys, I really wanted the piano represented in my 21 musical instruments. Just need hang them on Friday afternoon and sell them to the highest bidder. Which reminds me, They will all be sold at the event on Friday night through a silent auction so, if have seen them on the facebook page and would like to buy one to help raise money for CCP's Musical youth Project please email me with your highest bid which will then become the opening bid on the evening and you may win or you may just help the price get higher ;). All proceeds will go to the charity. But not from this one so if you want a watercolour version I get alllll the money moo haha ahem. Watercolour and pencil 29cm x 19cm click here to bid.

#294 Conductors Baton
This is Debbies conductors baton, broken during a particularly energetic piece so I'm told. I have also painted this in oil. Which brings me rather nicely to the musical instrument paintings I have been making. I have popped a few tasters on the facebook page so, please pop over and have a look I'll add more. All 21 paintings will be on show at the Cheltenham Laides College Parabola Arts Centre on September the 24th during a performance by a selection of the artists that use CCP's Musical Youth centre to celebrate CCP's 21st Birthday, to find out more click here, there are also tickets still available to see Arianna & The Forth Phase, Rufio Summers, Jewlz and A.Dott, and the projects namesake, Musical Youth themselves.
The oil paintings and will be all be sold to raise money for the Musical Youth music project (I want to stipluate they can only buy vintage acoustic guitars with the proceeds but that might not be awfully practical) a lot of links there so, I will stop typing now.
