#092 Four Nectarines
We got these Nectarines hoping to eat them, they said on the packet they were 'perfectly ripe'. They are not perfectly ripe so I painted them instead. Good.. I'm pleased ..I didn't want to eat them anyway....hrumph.

This is the end of my belt against my jeans, I only just noticed that from a distance this painting almost looks like one of the pyramids against a blue sky oooo spooky!

#089 Bread
Painting the milk yesterday made me want to paint bread, cven though I probably don't eat it everyday. I have eaten some today and thats all that matters.
PS: Nobody guessed that the shadow painting was from the upper horn on my bass guitar with the strap button poking out at the top. Shame, the prize was a trip for 2 to anywhere you choose (!)

I can't believe it has taken me this long to paint some milk..I have some every day on my cereal so it definetely qualifies for a daily painting.

#086 Jug Spout
This is a very lovely old jug I have in the studio to store my current in use brushes, you see I have a very vague, yet complex, system I use to to store and categorise my brushes. There is the small glass vase which houses the brushes that have passed their useful best but will still have a very unique use one day in the future. This jug with mycurrent faves, two large stoneware jars with abundant and various larger brushes that I haven't used as much since I started to paint tiny things another glass jar with current watercolour brushes in and a pencil, a green mug with pencils and a knife in, I could go on but I think the world wants the internet back.

#085 Juggling ball
One of my lesser known skill is that I can juggle three balls one handed, not for very long and it isn't all that elegant but there you go.

#081 Gardening Glove
The first hard digging day of this year today, lovely weather for it at the allotment, I can feel it in my back now though! I was digging the last bed to be dug which will be where the potato, along with all the others, I painted last night will go. This was the glove I wore on my right hand while I was digging. It reminded me of the glove that Brian Sewell, the art critic, owns that was the inspiration for Pablo Picassos painting of the hand of a wounded soldier in his monumental painting Guernica. There is a photo of it in this article. Not that I am in any way comparing digging my potato bed to the bombing of a Northern Spanish Town.

#080 A Little Chit
I thought I would keep you all updated on my potatoes they have started to chit. Which is a marvellous excuse to paint a little chit.

#078 Necklace
I think it was last christmas (and that doesn't mean you can sing Wham songs) I bought this for Debbie and it grabbed my attention this evening and it appears I wa so succsesful in depicting its shiny qualities through my cunning use of paint I have made it unphotographable, I will try and rectify that when it has dried a bit.

#077 Priming Brush
Another reminder that I really need to make and prime some more boards! Also its is a bit of a bee in my bonnett, not washing brushes. I find myself chastinsing people for not washing out brushes,,,sometimes even before they have started using the brush. This, howver is for gesso priming and the gesso in this brush will get melted out when I use it next time.

#076 Meths Label
I love health and safety labels and am a little sad these orange ones are soon to be phased out :(. These lovely little pictures are the only thing that stops me gouging out my own eyes while I write risk assessments (my favourite is the environmental hazard symbol, the one with a dead fish and a dead tree). I also need to remind myself to make more boards pretty soon as I only have four or five days left!!! I use meths in my secret painting board preparation process.

#075 Lemon Curd Cake
I had a sudden urge to make a cake this afternoon, so I did. This is my version of a lemon drizzle cake with lemon curd spread between two layers of sponge and drizzled over the top.

#073 Red Lettuce
I had such a 'craving' (for want of a better word) for this red lettuce when we were in the supermarket this evening I still had a craving after eating it but a painting craving. Satiated.

#072 Sock
I have finished indulging my youthful pastime of drawing and painting pictures of Spiderman, or you might think of them as very early life drawing lessons. This is one of my socks the other one is in the wash ..imagine my horror when I realised they had been seperated! deep breaths.. it will be allright....

#071 Comics III
I couldn't resist finishing the triptych, which means I think this is the first time in 801 days that I have painted a similar thing three nights in a row.

#070 (#800) More Comics
I know I can't believe it's day #800 either! It's also Nephew Joshua's 6th birthday, which is nice. Happy Birthday Josh. I enjoyed last nights comic painting so much, and josh likes comics, I thought I should paint another.
