I have been in the garden this afternoon, doing very exciting work preparing for the arrival of chickens. Which is not far away now that we have a chicken coop securely(ish) sited in the back garden. This sprig of catkins is from the tree we were working underneath this afternoon, and yes that is the only link to chickens.
