#1066 Wall behind the shelf

We have spent our day off clearing the spare room. This little 'landscape' behind a shelf that has been up for at least two repaints. Not by us I hasten to add. A cadmium yellow room is fun to have, but not by choice!

#1055 Socket Set box

I arrived back from Norfolk this evening after a surprise visit to see my folks for their Ruby wedding anniversary. My Dad always likes to send me back with things. This time I had 'weighing the boot down' was my Grandad's wonderful old tool box with lots of his tools in. I liked this rusty patch on a socket set but there will be more paintings of the tools I can feel it.

#1052 Pigs Bottom

I think this ceramic pig was my sisters when she had a slight obsession with them. It now resides in mums craft room where we sleep when we stay over. It was pointing it's curly tail at me this morning when I opened the curtains. So, I duly painted it.

We've had this since we were at art school, I think our housemate Merlin made it and passed it on when he left. Just seemed right today.

Not just any old oak grain this is from the half built neck of a cigar box guitar I'm making. I haven't actually done anything on it today but I am so tired I needed a nice easy close up to do today!
