#161 Bonsai Trimming

I have been fascinated by bonsai trees for over a decade. I have had a few, and lost a few. Both grown from seed and grown ones from specialist bonsai nurseries, the deaths all hurt. This little clipping is from a sale bonsai (that actually has a good shape to it, post prune) from Homebase for a fiver that I got today! Bank holiday bargain. The tree now sits on my studio windowsill, where as you may have noticed, I go every day to paint these little pictures. So, I should be able to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't dry out. Oil on gesso 16cm x 12cm.
