I got quite a thrill from the tension of painting a box of matches with oil paint, and having turpentine and white spirit all around me. Knowing that if I struck one of them I could combust my entire studio (well, start a full on fire at least). You will pleased to know I didn't succumb to my fire starting daydreams so, we can all look forward to painting #173 tomorrow! Oil on gesso 16cm x 12cm.
