#68 Ammonite Fossil Fragment

This ammonite fragment has been knocking around our shelves for a few years, it got painted today while being filmed by Steve Knibbs from BBC Points West. Click here to see tonights programme. Its an interesting experience painting and giving an interview at the same time. Oil on gesso 16cm x 12cm.

Hello, fellow Pittvillian! Ive just re-discovered you, courtesy of email by Cheltenham Uni. alumni assoc. I was in the year bellow you, when you were a degree student, doing fine art painting and was then arm-in-arm with Chris Aldgate.
- I´ll pass you on to other college friends. I Think your painting a day is a great idea and im tempted to barter for a chewed biscuit painting on Ebay!!
Keep it going!
