This is maybe the hardest thing to paint so far, trying to paint dry pigment with wet oil paint is an interesting task! This could be my favourite 'mini series' so far, I have always enjoyed the 'stuff' of painting and drawing as well as the activity. Oil on gesso 16cm x 12cm.

This is really nice, you've got the texture bang on. It really does look like powder.
